BRAVE LITTLE LION
The Brave Little Lions Project is a valuable tool in promoting Lions Awareness and its Services to our Community. The Brave Little Lions Project was initially intended to give a child comfort by providing them with a stuffed lion in times of distress in a hospital setting, but has since then evolved into the present day enhanced "Brave Little Lions" Children's Care Package. The Children's Care Package consists of a stuffed lion with a customized t-shirt with the Lions Club Name, customized Lions Club Name on a children's activity booklet, a small package of crayons and a "Brave Little Lions" bracelet with all items packaged together. The "Brave Little Lions" Children's Care Packages were best served and distributed through Emergency Medical Services (EMS) ambulances and paramedic's services to include services from local Fire Departments, Police and Sheriff Departments. The continuation of the "Brave Little Lions" Project and its success is depended on the interest and financial participation from the H-7 Zone Lions Clubs as a Zone Project or as an individual Lions Club project. Each individual Lions Club can decide whether to continue to fund this project with options on how to best promote it with the stuffed "Brave Little Lions" toys only or the option to complete the care package with booklets and crayons. The "Brave Little Lions" Project is only limited by the imagination and in turn, I am hopeful that all Lions Clubs within the H-7 Zone will continue to support this children's first project. This project also promotes interest to our youth in whom would directly benefit from it to pave a path for future generations of Lions Club Members.
