The Coupeville Lions Club received its charter on December 8, 1937 at a time when only men were allowed to join Lions. As of 1987, women went from serving the men dinners at Lions Club meetings to joining them around the dinner table. The Coupeville Lions Club is rich in history of the service and commitment given towards the community of Coupeville.
