How do I become a Lion?
How do I join the Coupeville Lions Club?  Membership into the Coupeville Lions Club, as with all Lions Clubs, is by invitation.  Membership is open to all men and women over the age of 18 who are willing to serve the needs of their community.  You need to fill out an Application for Membership and pay the initiation fees and club dues.  Once the Application for Membership has been received by the Membership Chair, it is submitted to the Club's Board of Directors for approval.  Once the application is approved, the Membership Chair will schedule a New Member Orientation and the Induction date into the Club, which will be on a regular Club meeting.

How much does it cost to join the Coupeville Lions Club?  Your Club dues are pro rated to the month during the fiscal year (July through June) in which you join, plus an Induction fee.  The Induction fee covers the cost of your Lions vest, name badge and portion which goes to Lions Club International (a one time fee).  Annual Club dues are $90 for the first family member and $70 for the second family member.  Club dues, collected by the Club Treasurer, are due by the end of June.  Members may send a check to the Club's P.O. Box or pay on-line, located under the Members Page.

What is this Multiple District 19-O, Zone O-7 stuff?  The Coupeville Lions Club is a member of the Multiple District 19 of Lions Clubs International.  Multiple District (MD) 19 covers the Lions Clubs located in Washington, Northern Idaho and British Columbia, Canada.  It consists of 5 Districts, named as Districts L, I, O, N, and S.  The entirety of Lions Clubs International is divided into geographic Districts for organizational purposes, about 750 Districts worldwide.
